Make a Super Easy Layout for Earth Day and Paperclip Challenge and Prize!

Good morning fellow crafter's Penny here today to show you my super easy layout for "Earth Day", and to tell you about our new paperclip challenge! Please see the bottom of this post for our paperclip challenge rules, and your coupon for free shipping if in the U.S., or $5.00 off international orders.

To those of you who didn't know it this month has an "Earth Day" celebration on April 22nd. So I thought I'd make a super easy "Earth Day" layout in it's honor using up some of my older stash items.

I also wanted to used up some of these die cuts I had been buying and hoarding. A lot of people don't realize that most of the packaged die cuts made for teacher's classroom's are also "acid free" so they are safe for your scrapbooks, and are a lot cheaper than die cuts made just for scrapbooks.

In this upper photo I am using my favorite glue made by ScraPerfect.  It's the Best Glue Ever.

The bottle in the upper photo also shows just how easy it is to use the No Clog Writing Cap around the edges of those die cuts.

The cap, and glue also made it easy to glue down the fabric bow,

and this felt flower! All without changing glues! This saves me so much time and money. I also used the glue with it's fine tip cap to re-glue the word sticker "hello" which had lost it's tackiness.

Next I added this cute chipboard camera, with a bling dot for it's lens.

Some more bling accessories, and a few foam flowers, and I'm all done. I can't wait to find just the perfect photo for this layout. I was also thrilled to use some of my older 8 1/2 x ll paper stash.  Now I'll have to make 10,000 more layouts till I have a manageable number of sheets left! LOL

Be sure and come back on the 29th of this month to see my take on this challenge, but everyday this week our Design Team will inspire you with this fun challenge.

Super Cute and Easy Mini Junk Journal with ScraPerfect

Linda here to share a Super Cute and Easy Mini Junk Journal with ScraPerfect. Using some Mixed Media Frankenpages from a few weeks ago I show how to make a Super Cute and Easy Mini Junk Journal with ScraPerfect.

Super Cute and Easy Mini Junk Journal with ScraPerfect

Video Tutorial showing the process of this Super Cute and Easy Mini Junk Journal with ScraPerfect.

ScraPerfect Supplies used in this Super Cute and Easy Mini Junk Journal with ScraPerfect.

The process begins with using the Mixed Media Frankenpages. Since I knew the measurements were 8 x 10.5 for those pages I decided to just cut one in half to make a 8 x 5.25 piece. This would become the cover of the Super Cute and Easy Mini Junk Journal with ScraPerfect.

Then creating two pages for the inside was next. These pages are slightly smaller than the cover so these won't stick out of the journal. One of the pages creates four pockets for the journal, inside each are journal cards made to match.

The images are digital from Calico Collage. I just love using images like this with mixed media.

Once the journal base was made it was time to glue in the elements. These were printed as a 5 x 7 image to be the prefect size. And ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever ensured that each element would stay in place.

The No Clog Writing Tip is the perfect tool to add to the Tulip Dimensional Glitter paint bottle to be able to add the perfect touch of glitter to the butterfly.

Embellie Gellie helps to pick up those tiny pieces and be able to have perfect placement.

A fun Sketch Challenge, Best Glue Ever and Freebie!

Hi everyone, Ginny here.  Over on my Facebook Group, I am hosting a sketch challenge on Mondays.  I have been running this challenge for about a year, with time off for busy summer months and other life events.  This will be our first challenge since July and I am happy to be back at it!
Here is the Sketch :

I have one little twist with this weeks challenge, use Washi!  if you don't have any then create a strip of pretty paper or ribbon.

Here is my card:

I have a lot of layers on this card, I used one 6x6 sheet of paper from the G45 pad that was in my stash called Botanica.
I used Best Glue Ever to keep it together

Best Glue Ever allows me to use many layers of many weights of paper keeping everything smooth.
A tiny little bit through the bo Clog Writing Caps allows even application.

I mounted the layers on Solar White Classic Column The SWCC is part of a wonderful Christmas package on sale at Paper Temptress.

See how smoothly this adhesive layers!

This beautiful stamp is from Our Daily Bread Designs.  This verse is a wonderful all-purpose verse for card making

I thought I would put up  a pretty design element for you today for a freebie :

Thanks for stopping by, if you have never tried the Best Glue ever, you really should make this investment for your quality card making!

How to fix Stuck Punches: Quick, Easy, Free (Video)

Hi All-
Amy here with a Jammed Paper Punch. Grrrrr! If sharpening doesn't help, then you need to take it apart.  It's not very hard IF you know how to do it.

I did not know where to start or how to proceed and although I read a post about it, I couldn't find a video. Pictures may be worth 1000 words, but a video is pure gold! So I made one for you.

How to Label Sizzix Dies for Easy Organization (video)

Hi All-
Amy Here with a Three Minute Video that gets right to the point! This tips such a no-brainer I'm frankly surprised the dies don't come this way;  use it with the thicker, more durable steel-rule dies which are sharp and protected with foam and/or plastic material (for your safety) such as Sizzlets, Big Shot. Tim Holtz, Stampin' Up! and more, used with manual machines.

(For the thin metal Spellbinder/Cheery Lynn type type dies, see my organization technique video using CD cases!)

How To Add Twine To A Layout

Hello!
Lisa back to share an easy way to add twine to your project. the easiest way I have found is using ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever along with the No-Clog Writing Cap.
Here is my layout:

Lay your twine where you want it on your layout. Put the No Clog Writing Cap that is attached to the bottle of the Best Glue Ever on the layout where you want to adhere the twine. Add a small thin dot of glue.

Place the twine on top. Easy Peasy!

The glue dries clear so you won't notice it if you add too much. But remember, a little bit goes along way.

I also used the Best Glue Ever to adhere my embellies on this page.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with us!

A Simple Vintage Garden Card Made Easy With Best Glue Ever

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the ScraPerfect blog.
Michelle here today, sharing how I made a
simple, vintage garden inspired card
using ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever
along with the No-Clog Writing Cap.

These two products are a go to when it
comes to making cards with intricate detail.
The Best Glue Ever lives up to its name,
as it works on many surfaces, has minimal setting time
and it sets permanent.

Using BGE along with the No-Clog Writing Cap,
works effectively in adding precise amount of glue, to even the finest of details.
You can see by the photos in this post, why these two products are
perfect for creating cards with intricate details.

To begin, I pre-cut solid color cardstock
in a "gate" style motif.
I applied fine beading of BGE with
the No-Clog Writing Cap along
the lines of the gate design and then secured on the front of
a 5x7 refolded card.

To enhance the vintage appeal,
I used color metallic & pearl color mists
over the entire surface of the card.

Once dried, I then began applying
the layers of the card, using double sided tape,
foam tape and foam squares.

For added security in adhesion, I used the BGE
on both sides of the adhesive elements and to apply the
decorative elements as well.

The entire project took about 20 minutes.

So if you have all elements
to create a simple card, you really
need the Best Glue Ever & No-Clog Writing Cap
to effortlessly put it all together.

Visitor Cards, Book Marks and a Freebie

Hi everyone, Ginny Here and today I am going to share an ongoing card making bookmark making project I am involved with. I am very fortunate to be the person making our Church visitor cards.   I have been doing this for years and I know some people do not like filling out the little card with their info and I don't blame them!  Once I have that info card I bring it home and have a card ready to mail the person with a little more info about our church and I include contact info. I also put a bookmark that I have made in the envelope as my little gift to them. Best Glue Ever  Makes this task so much easier - one glue with perfect adhesion every time!

Here are my finished cards:  I make each set according to the season the variety keeps it fun for me!

I use Heavyweight card stock for base and stamping/printing.
To keep it all together, smooth and crisp nothing works better than Best Glue Ever

Just a little tiny bit gives perfect adhesion

It works perfectly on teh book marks too

These papers were not heavyweight and there was no rumpling from the liquid adhesive.

Having to do production work for a business, wedding invites or in this case our church, it is important to me that all the details make something lovely and of high quality.  BGE never fails!

Here is my Freebie for you today, as a thank you for stopping by
